The scarves that are donated to the various agencies in the Lehigh Valley are distributed to men, women and children who suffer from a lack of basic clothing needs during the winter season. Because many of these individuals are living on the streets, the scarves they wear should be ultra-durable and able to withstand a lot of abuse. That’s why I’ve chosen yarns like Homespun and Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn – they look great and last forever.
You can use any pattern or stitch you like. But, if you need a little creative help, I’ve loaded two free patterns to my Ravelry store for your use. Follow the links below, download the pdf’s to your computer and get started!
