These are just a few of the places I like to visit.  I hope you enjoy them!

Professional Organizations:

Crochet Guild of America

Craft Yarn Council of America

Places to Shop:

The Knitter’s Edge – This yarn shop opened in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, a few years ago and has grown to be a Lehigh Valley icon.  Not only does the store carry a fantastic array of yarns, they also feature weekly classes and a place to knit and crochet that features a huge bay window.

Finger Lakes Fibers Yarn Store – Every September I spend a weekend in the Finger Lakes region wine-tasting with friends.  I never miss an opportunity to visit this yarn shop in Watkins Glen, NY.  A great place for local artisan yarn…..

Jimmy Bean’s Wool – Jimmy’s specializes in hand-dyed yarns.  Their signature line is Lorna’s Laces.  Some of the finest yarns around!

Interweave – Interweave produces two of my favorite magazines and home of the CrochetMe and Knitting Daily blogs.

Places to Give Back:

Mother Bear Project – Providing handknit bears to children affected by HIV/AIDS in emerging nations.
