Who fancies a crochet treasure hunt? Begin your journey and have a chance to win!

Treasure hunts are so much fun! You follow the clues or find your way to the spots marked on a map. Your goal is to make it through the various stops to get to the end of the journey – the prize!

You might know what you’re looking for at the end of the hunt, but you aren’t quite sure what you’ll encounter along the way.

That’s how this crochet treasure hunt is laid out. Each day of the treasure hunt, you’ll get the chance to enter yourself in a daily giveaway for one free MadameStitch pattern from my Ravelry shop.

During your daily journey, you’ll land on a variety of blog posts that have valuable information to offer. It might be a tip or trick. It could be a roundup of designs you didn’t know you were looking for. Or, it could be a design you’ve never seen before.

Whatever you find, it will be quite the adventure. Time to find out all the details!

The Crochet Treasure Hunt

The Crochet Treasure Hunt is a great way for you to explore some of the designs and resources MadameStitch has to offer while you make your way through to the daily entry form. Each day you’ll be treated to some of my favorite places on the website. 

I know you’ll be intensely focussed on simply getting to the form to enter that day’s giveaway, but I encourage you to take a little time to have some fun in this crochet treasure hunt. 

Once you land on a blog post, take a moment to explore what that post has to offer. By doing so, you’re sure to discover lots of crochet tips & tricks and maybe even find your perfect next crochet project on your trip around my website.

How do I participate?

The Crochet Treasure Hunt runs daily May 18th-22nd. Each day, you’ll have a chance to win a free MadameStitch pattern when you enter. 

Start right here on this blog post each day. Find that day’s information to begin your journey.

Once you click through to the next blog post, take a moment to read the blog post before clicking through to the next.

Here’s an example of what your daily journey looks like:

• Start right here on the treasure hunt event post; find that day’s entry point 👉
• Click thru to post #1; read the post 👉
• Click thru to post #2; read the post 👉
• Click thru to post #3; read the post 👉
• Click thru to post #4; read the post; fill out the daily entry form.

It’s that simple!

Once you’ve filled out the entry form, your day’s journey is over, although I encourage you to stick around and see all the wonderful things I have on my website!

What if you need a reminder to participate every day? If you’re already on my email list, you’ll get a daily email reminder. I’ll also be posting reminders daily in the Facebook group – MadameStitch Crochet Corner – or on my Facebook page.

Here’s how the crochet treasure hunt works:

1. Check this post every day beginning Monday, May 18th, and ending Friday, May 22nd. (Be sure to bookmark this post and clear your browser history each day).
2. The daily journey begins at 7am EDT. You have until 7am the next morning to complete your journey and find the entry form.
3. Scroll down in this post to find the button to get you started for the current day.
4. Follow the trail through to the 4th and final post where you’ll find a button.
5. Click that button, then fill out the form to enter for the current day’s free pattern giveaway.
6. Do it all over again the next day for another chance to win!

How will I know who won?

I’m in the US – Eastern time zone. So, the following morning, some time just before 9am, I’ll choose the winner for the previous day. I’ll post the winner’s name here on the event post, plus I’ll update the winners list on my Facebook page and group.

If you’re the winner, you’ll also receive a personal email from me with instructions about how to claim your free pattern.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I win more than once?

No. You’ll only be eligible to win one free pattern – let’s spread the love around! But that doesn’t mean you can’t play every day.

What will I find during the treasure hunt?

All kinds of crochet goodness – everything from my top tips and tricks to MadameStitch designs you didn’t know were there.

What if I find a blog post I want to return to?

Be sure to bookmark it so you can visit it after the treasure hunt is over. That’s what the blog is all about – a resource library just for you!
