It’s my birthday week so let’s celebrate with a scavenger hunt!

Do you know what a scavenger hunt is? If you haven’t played in a scavenger hunt before, you are in for a treat!

I remember, when I was a kid, that a scavenger hunt was a great way to spend time with my group of friends. They were usually organized by a social group at school or by the church’s youth leadership.

At the beginning of the scavenger hunt, we were given a list of items we needed to find. Of course, the first team to gather all of the items was the winner.

I don’t remember exactly where we went to get said items. Back then, it wouldn’t have been out of the question to go door to door in the neighborhood unannounced. That certainly wouldn’t fly now!

Anyway, scavenger hunts were loads of fun. That’s why I’m bringing them back…with a twist, this time to celebrate my birthday.

About the Birthday Scavenger Hunt

The Birthday Scavenger Hunt is a great way for you to explore some of the designs and resources MadameStitch has to offer while you search for the elusive daily entry form. The excitement builds because you won’t know exactly where you’ll find it each day.

Each day you’ll be treated to some fun quotes and interesting factoids about birthdays. You’ll also find out a little more about me! I have some fun stuff to share.

I know you’ll be intensely focussed on finding what you’re looking for (the entry form, that is), but I encourage you to take a little time to have some fun in this Birthday Scavenger Hunt. Indulge in the fun facts and quotes you’ll find along the way. Plus, you’ll discover lots of crochet goodness as you hop around for your chance to win!

How do I participate?

The Birthday Scavenger Hunt runs daily March 25th – 31st. You’ll have a chance to win a free MadameStitch pattern when you enter. And, the grand prize is a $25 Amazon gift eCard.

In this scavenger hunt, you’ll be searching for the photo that has a link to the entry form. Each day you’ll get a list of 4 links to choose from. All of them have the daily photo but only one of them has the entry form.

Each day right here on the event post, you’ll find the daily photo, the 4 links and the instructions for finding the entry form. You’ll have until 9am EST the next morning to find the entry form and fill it out.

Once you’ve filled out the entry form, your search is over, although I encourage you to stick around and see all the wonderful things I have on my website!

Prizes

I’ll choose a winner randomly from all the entries I receive. The daily winners will be able to choose any one pattern from my Ravelry shop to add to their libraries.

I’ll choose ONE grand prize winner from ALL of the daily entries to receive a $25 Amazon eGift card.

All winners will receive an email that will also include instructions about how to claim a prize.

Troubleshooting

It happens to all of us at some point – something doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to. You may encounter a problem during the Birthday Scavenger Hunt that can easily be solved on your end.

Try these things if that happens to you:

If that day’s instructions don’t show up as promised, clear your browser history, esp. if you’ve visited the scavenger hunt post before.
If you can’t find the entry form on any of the photos, you might have just missed it. Go back and check again.
